フィリピンは射撃の盛んな国です
ISPCという組織があります。
International Practical Shooting Confederation
といいいまして、 国際実用射撃連盟の略称で, スポーツシューティングが世界各国で愛好されて組織された団体名であり競技名です。 射撃会では権威のある世界最大の組織です。
毎年WorldCupのような競技会も実施しています。
個人レベルでは参加できず、国単位で参加します。驚くことに日本も参加しています。

これを見るとSportsShootingがいかに行われているかがよくわかります。
それで２０１２年のRegion(ほぼ国）のRankingが出ていたので紹介します。
なんとフィリピンは3位でした。
いかに射撃が盛んで指導者も多いかがわかります。当PhilShootingをはじめ、実際フィリピンでの指導者は優れていると思います。
以下 比較方法とRankingを記載しておきます。
How does your Region compare?
IPSC is made up of a number of Regions. The annual level of activity varies in these Regions from year to year. At the end of each year, IPSC produces a list that ranks the Regions based on three criteria:
1. Membership
2. Gold medals won
3. Level III (or higher) matches held
This ranking illustrates the relative "health" of the Region. We thought this might be of interest to the general membership, so we have published the results for your information and interest.
